Project Goals & Expectations

The objective was of an eminently pragmatic nature: to create the living space for multiple tenants by utilising the considerable size of the building. We put a lot of thought into organising the space to the final benefit of the people who will be sharing this space. There were two goals for this project:

  • the conversion/extension of the basement into a self-contained habitation with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and a bathroom, with back garden access and entrance door through newly built access stairs;
  • a roof conversion into a cozy and sunny mansard wich, similarly to the basement, would have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.
